Monthly Meetings
Young Professionals,
We have been discussing a monthly meeting. Mark your calendars for the meeting in the Uno’s loft for Thursday, December 16, at 6:00 p.m.
In this meeting we will address the slogans, logos, and the Web site (have your ideas ready). Furthermore, Mike North and I have been wanting to have a discussion with the group about an agreement on our mission statement, a definition of structure, an election of a simple list of officers and perhaps a meeting coordinator, a meeting schedule, the financial structure, the official name, and any other items that wouldn’t be appropriate to throw in with our events.
So, if we get 50 people or close to that number, we will get the Uno’s loft all to ourselves!
Our group founders would like to make us aware of the Community Leadership Alliance. Some openings for the upcoming class exist. If you are interested, go to the Platteville Chamber site there is a link to the CLA and also an email address for Kerie Wedige.
Just a reminder, our next event is Wednesday, December 8, 8-10 p.m. in the Pioneer Haus of the Pioneer Student Center for the blues guitarist. If you have been thinking about asking a few people to join, invite them to the event! The Pioneer Haus severs beer, pizza, and appetizers.
